About Us

Why Are We Here?

We are here as missionaries to the Western Slopes of Colorado to be involved in the development of regional unity and strategy for transformation in the Western United States. We are teamed with people who have established ministries in Mexico, the Philippines, Peru, India, Malaysia, and Western Africa. Doors are also open to work among Native Americans in the Western US. Our base of operations will be Nations Fellowship in Montrose. We have heard the call of God, and we are responding in faith. There is no salary available on this end, so we must raise our own support. God has always been faithful, and we are expecting abundant provision in this endeavor, so Susan and I can serve side by side to a greater degree than ever. We are blessed to be joining an awesome thing God is doing, unlike anything we have ever seen. We invite you to join us in this new adventure. We appreciate your love for us, currently and in the past, and you can be assured we will feel honored and grateful for whatever support you provide us in the future. (See message on giving page)

David & Susan Haines

David and Susan met while David was on a summer mission trip in Seattle, Washington in 1978, and they were married in Lakewood, Washington in August of 1979. God blessed them with three wonderful daughters. Jessica (30) – Athletic Trainer at Waco High in Waco, TX; Rebecca (28) – Bi-Lingual First Grade Teacher at Northside Primary School in Palestine, TX; and Christi Anna (22) – Student living in Palestine, TX. David began preaching at age 15 and became a pastor for the first time at age 20.  They have served as senior pastor of 7 different churches over a span of 32 years.  The first 3 churches were Baptist, the last 4 were non-denominational churches. David has a desire through preaching, teaching, and writing to stir up and impart:

  • experiential awareness of Father’s love,
  • fresh passion for Christ,
  • an expectation of the supernatural in daily life,
  • hunger for the manifest presence of God
  • supernatural joy
  • personal, church, and regional transformation

Susan has the God-given ability to:

  • lead others in worship
  • impart wisdom through counseling
  • teach with clarity

David graduated from Connally High School in Waco, TX ‘75, Baylor University in Waco, TX in ‘79, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX in ‘82, and Emmaus Road School of Ministry in Euless, TX in ‘92
